Plan your Quran reading for Ramadan 2027 (Ramadan 1448 AH). The Quran has 604 pages in the standard Madinah Mushaf. Read about 20 pages a day and you will finish in a 30-day month; read 21 pages a day and you will finish in 29 days. Build your day-by-day plan below.
Quran Reading Planner — Ramadan 2027
At 20 pages a day you need 31 days to finish (604 ÷ 20 = 30.2, rounded up) — so add 1 extra page on 4 days, as in the plan above.

Page numbers follow the standard Madinah Mushaf (604 pages). Juz are not all exactly the same number of pages, so the “About Juz” column shows the Juz you will mostly be reading that day, not an exact boundary. Page counts can differ in other editions.
Worked example
30-day month: 604 pages ÷ 30 days = 20.1 pages a day. So read 20 pages a day, and add 1 extra page on the first 4 days: 21 × 4 + 20 × 26 = 84 + 520 = 604 pages. Starting on 8 February 2027, you finish on 9 March 2027.
29-day month: 604 pages ÷ 29 days = 20.8 pages a day. So read 21 pages a day for the first 24 days, then 20 pages a day for the last 5 days: 21 × 24 + 20 × 5 = 504 + 100 = 604 pages. Starting on 8 February 2027, you finish on 8 March 2027.
One Juz a day: the Quran is divided into 30 Juz. Reading one Juz a day is the classic Ramadan plan — one Juz is about 20 pages (604 ÷ 30 = 20.1).
How to keep up with your plan
- Read a little after each prayer: 20 pages is about 4 pages after each of the five daily prayers — much easier than one long sitting.
- Use Taraweeh: in many mosques the Taraweeh prayer covers one Juz a night, so following along in Taraweeh covers your daily Juz.
- If you miss a day: do not try to read double the next day in one sitting. Spread the missed pages over the next two or three days, or use a rest day built into your week.
- Read with understanding: even a few verses of translation or tafsir a day adds a lot. The planner counts pages, but understanding matters as much as finishing.
- Start before Ramadan: if you begin a few days early, the daily target drops — for example, starting 7 days early at 20 pages a day covers 140 pages before Ramadan begins.
Frequently asked questions
How many pages of Quran should I read a day in Ramadan?
To finish the whole Quran in a 30-day month, read 20 pages a day, with 1 extra page on 4 days. In a 29-day month, read 21 pages a day for 24 days and 20 a day for the last 5 days. That is about one Juz (about 20 pages) a day.
How many pages are in the Quran?
The standard Madinah Mushaf has 604 pages and 30 Juz. Other editions can have a different number of pages, so this planner’s page numbers refer to the Madinah Mushaf.
Can I finish the Quran in 29 days?
Yes — read 21 pages a day for the first 24 days and 20 pages a day for the last 5 days. The planner above builds that schedule for you when you choose 29 days.
What if I miss a day of reading?
Spread the missed pages over the next few days rather than doing them all at once. At 20 pages a day, missing one day means adding about 7 extra pages a day over the next 3 days.
Does the planner work if Ramadan starts on 9 February instead of 8 February?
Yes — choose 9 February 2027 in the “Expected first fast” box and the planner moves every date by one day. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirms the start the night before, so check back then.
